Early returns on Vanderbilt's junior day spell success

With the news that Vanderbilt has received it's first commitment for the 2010 class [
Link], one could say that the Junior Day event at Vanderbilt was a success.

But it may not stop there. Our sources are saying that VU is on the verge of receiving possibly four more commitments from prospects who were at the event. We tried to contact a few on Monday, but were a unsuccessful. However, we believe that we'll get a some good feedback from these prospects soon enough.

Also, several prospects who may not be on the verge of committing, have stated how great the visit was to others. We got reaction from two players in particular, in local prospect Fitz Lassing and Connecticut product DeVaghn Millington.

The success of Vanderbilt's 2008 season, appears to be rubbing off on 2010 recruiting and several early targets seem to believe that 2008 was not just some one-hit wonder.
